not even joking.
Probably second best, hardly joking whatsoever
RIP Thom Yorke's voice
Treefingers is, legit, leagues beyond any other Radiohead instrumental that will ever exist.
Even if Thom and Ed were clearly aping Fripp & Eno.
But Go Slowly is easily top 5.
but the live version of Kid A the song is actually amazing
but Pablo Honey is clearly the best Radiohead song
the guy. The rest of the soundtrack is more 'appropriate' to the film, but this song playing just tripped me up completely.
Okay. Joke fail, I guess.
People usually just think you're clueless.
But how anyone can't see that it's a joke (since, YES, 'Pablo Honey' is an album rather than a song, and is shit) is beyond me. I gave the forum too much credit. I'm now downgrading its rating.
even though they haven't got the same title.
I'd imagine Joe just thought (like me) that you meant a particular track from Pablo Honey and had a brain fart and was expecting you to correct it.
I'm still downgrading the rating, though I accept that I have essentially paid for the mistakes of others.
Even my minor attempts at diversion make me end up in conversations that make me want to die a little.
I'm DEFINITELY not joking.
Best song EVR.
A Punchup At A Wedding is fully in my top 5 alongside Meeting In The Aisle, A Reminder, Paranoid Android and 2+2=5
How I Made My Millions
high and dry
FUCK, i could probably name about 20 which i think is the best, there are so many amazing songs, beautiful band!
Seriously, cue Hunting Bears followed by I Might Be Wrong and give them a cross-over fade of about 3 seconds: the fade out of Hunting Bears is the same as the fade in of I Might Be Wrong. I've always assumed HB is an off cut from the beginning of IMBW.
Fucking useless bastards.
Pablo Honey? Shit
The Bends? Shit
OK Computer? Shit
Kid A? Not even music
Hail to the Whatever? Shit
In Rainbows? Shit
Pop is Dead? Genius
If I were PRESSED to give an answer, Idioteque, or Lucky, or Motion Picture Soundtrack.
The notion of boiling a band like Radiohead down is goddamn pointless. They're not quite a "songs" band, if you will; the records they put out are, more or less, cohesive pieces, rather than collections of songs. I can't imagine Kid A would have worked any other way, even if it were sequenced differently, for instance.
But that's just, like, my opinion, man.
and liked the way it was langorous and basically a bit like Air, which made it seem like a perfect respite from the tension of the rest of the album. Then I found out that I'd been listening to a song by Phoenix (Embuscade).
How did I not know I'd got this wrong for almost a decade?
Anyway, the answer's Like Spinning Plates (if only because of the bit where Thom shouts 'Gee-tar' immediately before a guitar solo)
More or less every song I've been on the record as saying is my favourite has been mentioned in this thread
A Reminder is *astonishing*
Apart from that basically no one's mentioned my other favs - Myxomatosis, Nude, Reckoner, Black Star, All I Need ...
Or the one that features least of Thom Yorke's whining voice? It's probably that.
Probably the most over-done thread in internet history: favourite Radiohead song

so honourable mentions go to 36 other records
