I have, and love, "Shallow Grave". What next?
the new EP (Sometimes the Blues Is Just a Passing Bird) might be a good shout. Bit darker and quieter but absolutely fantastic with it...but you can't really go wrong with The Wild Hunt, which as well as the debut self-titled EP is all he's put out to date, I think.
Sod it, I'll get the lot.
"The Wild Hunt". Don't think i enjoy it as much as a whole but my favourite two TMOE songs are on there.
The two EPs are good as well. Not sure how easy they are to get though. I just downloaded them..
If you've only got the first album, then definitely get The Wild Hunt. I much prefer it, although what's good for the goose etc etc. 'Kids on the Run' and 'The King of Spain' are two of my favourite songs of the last few years.
There's also an amazing live set doing the rounds (I found it linked on Hypemachine) which has most songs of both albums, along with a cover of Mother and Child Reunion and a Sade song I forget the name of.
It's also worth trying to find his cover of Graceland by Paul Simon, it's incredible.
Also worth investigating, unless you're completely bored of him by then, is the Daytrotter session which has a piano version of 'I Won't Be Found' which is awesome as well as an obligatory Dylan cover, which I guess is predicatable given his voice, but he does 'I Want You' which is one of my favourites.
Not a jag in sight either.
The piano version of 'I Wont Be Found' is incredible.
