  regarding your website: do yourself, and us, a big favour and find a forum that is set up for offering constructive criticism and advice to people getting started with webdesign and are just getting set up with eShops etc.
  
  you're attempting to cream off a percentage of sales from anyone who buys somethig from affilliate sites via your original-content-light, but link & keyword-laden site.
  
  you made a website about music you enjoyed 20-30 years ago? well done. so did hundreds/thousands of other intertron people. but don't try and pretend it isn't all leading into snaring a sale, even if you do link to the artists' websites.
  
  promoting merchandise on here (JAG-ging as it's known around these parts) is generally accepted if you had some hand in the creative process. i.e. if you're a DIY artist or bedroom-label or whatever. i've bought stuff for myself from such threads on here.
  
  but you're blatantly spamming when it's clearly not welcome. not even bothering to be coy about it by slipping links into actual conversations. god knows how you've not been banned yet.
  
  simple. and you know it. so don't act innocent about it.
  
  regarding yourself: stick around and chat music. we're a friendly crew to those who genuinely wanna get unhealthily geeky about music. there's a thread with over 300 replies that discusses bands with unpronounceable names ffs, so you're bound to find something worth gobbing off about.
  
  now.... let's put all this website promotion business beind us, forget it never happened, and just move on, eh? and if you'll excuse me, i've got some threads to add artist name tags to...
