or can anyone recommend anythind simular? cheers.
i cant spell today! sorry..
Playing Carlisle and London in November, FYI.
although it's a bit hit and miss as well. The highlights on the album are extremely good though
I've sure you could vibe off that (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muMJtcXcM2c) if you dig Baths. Flying Lotus too (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbkRvclQS4M), he can be a bit more dense and freaky compared to that lot but he's all kinds of awsome. He has a collective/label thing going on called Brainfeeder which has loads of people involved you'll prob like: http://www.brainfeedersite.com/. Mount Kimbie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Fnv1CpfMq8) might do it for you too. James Blake (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQoQirZwxE4) is a real treat.
haven't heard the album yet but it seems like the kind of thing that purists would describe as watered down, so to speaK
but I like what I've heard so far, its a little bit light in places but thats what you want sometimes. I can't see him making moves in the scene anytime soon but he'll no doubt be a good gateway into it for indie peeps. So its all good really.
it's a mix of baths stuff and his other project geotic which is more ambient and drony. Really really nice in parts. Listen to it as you go to sleep.
i almost prefer it. especially tracks like fabric
or 'nice'. Why have baths when you have Caribou.
