Your argument is invalid"
I love superfans
only his were good. This is christmas dinner in deepest dark south wales.
"So The Blackout are a Welsh version of Insane Clown Posse? That's pretty funny."
"Get a grip, they're not keeping this money for themselves, a lot of it gos towards kids with fucking cancer you ignorant twats. Before you make such a ridiculous article maybe you should try researching before posting this crap."
Kids With Fucking Cancer
fucking kids with cancer
"Also 'kids for cancer'. Comon, they're pretty much a lost cause. If you give to actual poor, starving and homeless people you'll actually change someone's life."
Yeah josh freeze did it, it was a riff on trent reznor offering $5 for his album, $10 for deluve and $100 for the super special signed secret club edition
I think he was offering drum lessons though which is a bit more reasonable than "carry around our stuff for a day"
Roadie-ing for a not very successful band at £200 a pop though- that's a bit gittish.
So fans are still paying £180 to be a roadie
They deserve our ire.
"Akala - a Mobo Award-winning rapper and Ms Dynamite's little brother - will take you on in a five-a-side kickabout for £24."
Not good, just their continued existence is astounding. Saw them suppporting FFAF at that Casually Dressed gig a few months back and couldn't believe that bands like that were still touring.
is that their fans will defend the cunts for asking people to pay to work for them
which was still getting comments from uberfans FOUR YEARS after it was posted. good times. I've never heard of The Blackout.
"We had a Black out in my street once. It's ok though, the police made him get back in his car & move on."
Maybe when I've retired, that'll be something to look forward to.
Just have to say I couldn't even get past the Blackout's picture without dying of laughter, what utter cuntbuckets...!
Was hoping this was about the band that seems to have paid to be in every issue of kerrang over the summer, singer looks like dave vanian, fat bassist, name escapes me...
And actually, "Thrash Hits, you are wankers lol they are my fave band lol ". no-one says lol that much. GET A GRIP.
If it's going to fund their album, who's to say what fans are allowed to pay? If they want to pay some money to a band they love, which lets them meet them or whatever, then why shouldn't they be allowed?
Okay, horrendously worded yes, and I've no love whatsoever for the Blackout, but surely it's a matter of supply and demand?
Although then again, if they were charging £50 a ticket for their gigs just because they knew their fans would pay it, I'd be against that, but still.
Quite a few people are turning to Pledgemusic to finance an album at the moment - Emmy The Great, Grammatics, I Like Trains, um, Charlie Simpson. It's what they're asking people to do for them.
They have 98,000 fucking friends. How does that happen? Can you buy myspace friends from China or something?
take mushrooms with josh freese and go for a ride in danny carey's lamourghini, to the tune of around $1000.
