I certainly am.
Neon Bible seems to make more sense with The Suburbs as a sort of midpoint between it and Funeral. I've finally stopped regarding it as the massive disappointment and just started enjoying the tracks more.
I'm not seeing them til December, though I gather they're not playing a whole lot of Neon Bible tracks anymore.
it's probably the one I reach for first when I listen to them
I love it no more or less since The Suburbs came out.
Its far better than the suburbs, but it aint no funeral. the end
Neon Bible is fantastic - dark, religious imagery and great songs. I was shocked by how much I've been enjoying The Suburbs though..I'm now thinking Funeral is their weakest album
But by most band's standards it's still an excellent release. I'm also surprised by just how much I like the Suburbs: very consistent in tone and theme, and thankfully well away from the big, preachy songs of NB. It's the album which confirms to me they're in it for the long haul.
