Also, does anyone know the stage times? Especially, what time are Yuck on? Thanks.
Can't help with times, sorry.
..but I will be there. Have been waiting for this for months, will be the first time I've seen them.
Beach Side Property
Talking Shit About A Pretty Sunset
Edit The Sad Parts
Doin' The Cockroach
Dark Center Of The Universe
Tiny Cities Made Of Ashes
Paper Thin Walls
Workin' On Leavin' The Livin'
All Night Diner
And they can also throw in some newer stuff if they wish, I'm not a picky man..
They played two of those.
Doin' The Cockroach could happen to and they have been playing Dark Center Of The Universe recently.
I'm gonna make a bet
you WILL get Tiny Cities Paper Thin Walls & Dark Center Of The Universe and Trailer Trash which I have noticed you've left off the list like some sort of barbarian.
I had a "moment"`
..on the 2nd Sept in Italy so it could happen tomorrow.
They played Trailer Trash every time I have seen them, I love the extended outros on that and Tiny Cities which I think are their 2 best live songs by a LONNNG LONNNG way.... though Whale Song is fucking awesome live too
Yuck: 7:45pm - 8:30pm
Modest Mouse: 9:00pm - 11:00pm
and I'm very excited.
Does anyone have any suggestions for nosh establishments nearby? Preferably cheep like the budget budgie and quick enough to get us out in time for Yuck.
available online if people are quick & on the door tonight
i'm going to the Campfire Trails thing (for Felice Brothers and White Rabbits) - can't see how they can squeeze in 4 bands from 7-11pm...
..The Flaming Lips there last year their set was cut short as they hit the curfew. It was only one song but it was She Don't Use Jelly which they then did the following night..bah!
and am very excited. I actually screeched in a bit in the quiet office I was in.
...wasn't expecting Broke & Baby Blue Sedan.
Cowboy Dan! http://www.interstate-8.com/setlists.asp?tour_id=912
I'm seeing them tomorrow night, looking forward to it. Setlist was almost perfect last time I saw them: http://www.interstate-8.com/setlists.asp?tour_id=874
I'm hoping for a collaboration.
I do, however, realise, that this will not happen.
they seem to be playing less and less 'new' songs these days. Sort of surprised by lack of Trailer Trash
Though I think they had to cut their last song due to the curfew. Boo-urns.
the encore was not really up to much, I didn't think. maybe I was just pissed off because they didn't play Trailer Trash. pretty good setlist apart from that... I'm not really into quite a lot of their newish stuff, but they played more old songs than I thought they would so it kinda balanced.. also, I really didn't like the audience
Yuck were bland. they showed some potential, especially on the last song, but generally a bit limp, average, and not very exciting
