Discuss. 'You Ain't No DJ' probably just about beats to the title of *the* worst track, though.
But it really has to be heard on a proper system I think. Aint No DJ is alright.
I hadn't heard it on the radio, because I don't do that sort of thing, so I was listening out for it when I listened to the album for the first time, and I thought it seemed an odd choice of single. Of all the great tracks which would make people sit up and pay attention, I don't see how 'Shutterbugg' is one of them.
Anyway, enough with the negativity - it's a great album, but if I were to name my favourite tracks, I'd just end up listing all of them apart from the aforementioned.
Scott Storch produced it and its not lame. Joking aside I think its a great track and works well as a single, chorus is great and the amazing 'back to life...' bit catchs peoples attention. I already posted this but his performance with a live band on Leno really made the song come alive, a lesson in how live rap should be done:
The Yelawolf verses are amazing.
Don't think there's much weak on it, but I'm not a big fan of Be Still actually. Think it's a fairly pointless use of her vocals.
is it that sam chris guy?
big boi rapping -- just using a higher voice than normal (don't know if it's an effect on his voice, as it seems to drop in and out). love the track though -- best one on the album
It's just a great album
Dangerously close to flawless, Night Night could have used an Andre verse and Follow Us could've done without that chorus (though otherwise the song is genius), everything else on there leaves all other music this year in the dust, and it's been a great year for music.
agreed on Shutterbug being a bit flat, until I heard it on a decent set of headphones and soundsystem, then HOLY SHIT!
Have to say Train Pt 2 is currently my fav, but this changes pretty much constantly, this album is a pretty long one and yet I never ever find myself bored or wanting to skip a track. It's truly not only one of the best pop albums of it's time but also one of the best albums of it's time period.
