'Hurley' due next month on Epitaph.
Some people just have no sense of priorities =(
But I don't think I've seen it mentioned on here:
Seems the album title comes from a deal they struck with the clothing company, and having the Lost guy on the cover is basically just an attempt at some sort of smokescreen.
this is like hearing that George Lucas is making another 3 Star Wars films
if you hadn't said it, I would've. enough with them, already. they're not even that good. annoying and boring. get real jobs.
I've been meaning to for a while. MAYBE TONIGHT.
what's with that track with Lil Wayne on it
is what's with it
the Diet Rite SuperRad County Fair Tour featuring Switchfoot and Breaking Benjamin
is a really good album, apart from a couple of the tracks.
I like 9 out of the 11 tracks. That's a decent hit rate. I got the edition with the CD with another 4 tracks which were all good too. So no major complaints.
but, no, I shouldn't have got my hopes up :(
THE ALBUM COVER
WHO CARES ABOUT THE MUSIC
OF WHEN WEEZER WERE REALLY AWESOME
OF WHEN THEY DIDN'T SOUND LAME
okay. After listening to it 3 times it hasnt gotten worse. The bassline reminds me of Rebbelion by Arcade Fire. Its almost the same except for one note, but whatever it happens.
i really like that new track. It's probably their best in years.
they don't have a fucking clue on how to use them
it's not a bad song and it's catchy and has energy and is possibly the strongest single they've released for a few years.
Even considering my love of Pinkerton I still wish they'd just retire already.
Long may they continue.
Sounds more like Weezer than any of the post-Maladroit records did - there's a few quite 'Green'-esque tracks on there. They've turned the juvenile dial down a couple of notches too.
I'll give it a few more listens befored I decide if it's any good....
keep on going back for more.
I have to, surely one day... they won't smack the shit out of me and show me a good time
the album was surprisingly cringe-less until Wheres My Sex came on... which is BLOODY AWFUL..
very catchy and tight, Smart Girls could be one of the best songs they've done for years. *apart from the lyrics*
this half of the album has been pretty strong.
It's all just simple punk songs with loud choruses
the song is pretty good fun and catchy
... mainly because I thought Raditude was (slightly) better than most people made out. First impressions are not good: in short it sounds like he's had (another?) fucking lobotomy. So many awful sickly sweet melodies and relentlessly adolescent lyrics. So much fucking CORNINESS. Just fucking endless bushels of corn. And obviously the shitty brickwalled pop/punk production is in full effect.
I mean, I didn't plan on hating it this much or anything but I just listen to tracks like Smart Girls and Where's My Sex? and I think this is a guy (a 40 year-old guy) who needs to stop making music - because listening to this stuff makes me want to put my other Weezer cds in a metal bucket and set fire to them.
