The Kopparberg Klash Music Finalists Party!
Vice and Kopparberg Cider have been running a competition called the Kopparberg Klash all summer, in an effort to find the newest creative talent in the country. The competition is for filmmakers, fashion stylists, musicians and photographers, with prizes of £1,000 in each category as well as a chance to be featured in our very own magazine - basically all you need to get started in the industry.
As the deadline for each section of the Klash submissions passes, we will be holding a series of amazing parties across different venues to celebrate the finalists. So far we've had a bash at the Old Blue Last where we screened the films made by the ten film finalists, another at the London Fields pub where the five styling finalists put on a guerilla catwalk show in the middle of the street, much to the consternation of passers by. Next up is the Music Finalists' gig at the Old Blue on August 4th which will see the bands Plus Ultra, Clock Opera and Filthy Boy go head to head on stage. The whole shebang is being hosted by Charlie Partridge of the East End comedy duo Robin & Partridge and the Underground Rebel Bingo nights fame. There will also be DJs both upstairs and down: Paul Lilley of Sexbeat and Modern Romance DJs. So come down. Oh yeah, there will be some cider for you to sample as well.
Don't forget to check out findkopparberg.com for how you can enter any of the remaining competitions and how to get invited to the final bash on September 1st.
