I don't know if it's just me but after listening to the new Ariel Pink album on repeat for nearly a month, i've noticed it seems to borrow a lot of ideas (instrumentation, vocal arrangement etc.) from Sheik Yerbouti era Zappa. Could anyone recommend any similar bands or artists that share this Zappa/Ariel Pink kinda sound?

Also, if anyone could recommend any non Sheik Yerbouti era Zappa that sounds like Ariel Pink that would be grand too...
