Exit calm and Frightened Rabbit both self confirmed on their myspace
exit calm, frightened rabbit - don't know who is headlining.
I can't seem to operate their website.
before announcing the full lineup in previous years.
I went to this in 2006, it was a fiver and there was free ice cream all day. Is it still like that?
And ended dead early as well, so we had enough time to get out of Clapham and drink elsewhere. SWEET.
Ice cream was definitely free. I think you're confusing it with the cider.
And I was pretty drunk.
Also, I was delerious on painkillers.
of you, flinging around the Benjamins with Phish Food smeared all over your face.
Mo’ Honey (I’m home), Mo’ Problems.
more £12.00 to include postage. But it's always had free ice cream, and probably always will!
That's value. As long as I like some of the bands.
Right team, get finding out the headliners. NOW.
I'm assuming. The whole point is not to make a profit but to thank their customers, I think, so it's cheaper than you'd expect.
last years they had SFA/Teenage Fanclub on the sat and Human League/Futureheads on the Sun. Clearly value for money for £12.00 a day and free icecream!
I'm raiding my penny jar. Just as soon as I find out who else is playing.
Not brilliant, but frankly I didn't care. Five pounds! Sunshine! Free ice cream! It more like the best fair I'd ever been to than a one day festival.
Ash and Get Cape, loads of Sunshine, free ice cream and a Pimms bus.
What more does one man need?
and you saying worriedly, "He's had a LOT of cider. I'm not sure that bottle of red wine he's got is a good idea."
*treasures memories of dancing to Del Amitri at 2am*
I forget which.
Billy bragg has self confrimed for the Sunday
Tickets on sale Monday from www.benjerry.co.uk - I can't see a price.
Saturday line-up announced "mid-June".
was a 2 week gap between the sat and sunday announcement, so i imagine it'd be the same this year.
That's a great line up BTW
Last year was one of the best days out I've ever had.
for free ice cream
I don't think we have this in the US. What a fucking shame. How could we be beaten at revolting public consumption of very fatty foods?????
They have about a dozen or so stands around the site, each offering one or two different flavours.
Think I maxed out after seven flavours last year. I met Ben as well, actually it may have been Jerry. One of the two anyway. He had the contented look that only an ice cream millionaire can have.
I thought it was a fiver when I went the year before last?
Think I'll probably still go mind
who? ben and jerrys always sells out...
especially as although tickets are only £15, not only do they add a booking fee, but also a transaction fee.
