It has an ace second cd of b-sides and rarities that's better than 90% of the stuff on their last three albums.
best album imho.

then deevour Pinkerton with zeal; then be disapointed by Green, but not shatteringly so; then really enjoy Maldariot, in a different way to Blue or Pinkerton. Then listen to If You're Wondering If I Want You To, I Want You To - for all their faults of the last five years or so, that song delivers the goods in a big way.
also seek out all the b-sides off both these albums as well as stuff from the unreleased Songs From The Black Hole (look it up). Some are available on on Rivers' solo album.
This alone will give you another album and a bit's worth of gold, Jamie, Susanne, Waiting On You and You Gave Your Love To Me Softly are brilliant.
is possibly their best song ever.
forget all your other music entirely and play the above three at a ratio of 6-5-2 for a month straight at least.
if you get bored (you shouldn't) balance it out by dropping Pork & Beans, Keep Fishing, Perfect Situation and The Greatest Man That Ever Lived into the mix periodically.
