Only 1 Pavement show though, thought they were doing 2.
which is good I think
Um...I think TNV.
even though Wooden Shjips yet again is tempting.
Very excited about late night Omar Souleyman. And late night Endless Boogie.
And Boris clashing with Pavement, hooray! Stuff you Boris!
Thank fuck. There do appear a number of irritating clashes though... still processing.
than loooooooooooong ass psychedelic garage that'll get me all hypnotisised. Man, I'm looking forward to the late night stuff so much. Grails at 1am on Sunday! Woo!
they hypnotised me into buying a t-shirt that doesn't even fit in Glasgow. Crafty twats.
The last time I saw Grails was six years ago. Where does the time go guys
"in support of Architecture in Helsin..."
*family fortunes EH-ERGHHH noise*
Is Harmony Korine's new film. I saw it at the Leeds Film Fest last year, very very creepy and a real struggle to watch! Good stuff!
is between Atlas Sound, Monotonix or Trash Humpers
Saccharine Trust>Fiery Furnaces>food>Pavement>Faust>Monotonix>Omar Souleyman
if they're as good as last time they played in the Pavillion I'll need it. THANKS.
...but for the exact opposite reason that you did. I thought it was a bone-chillingly horrible experience.
Music's a strange business ain't it.
...I promise you
What a terrible decision.
I'm not too arsed about not going now.
I like Atlas Sound, and I haven't heard too much Monotonix - but the latter seem to promise a grand old time from what I've seen. Anyone seen Atlas Sound live?
Monotonix could be an absolute riot but I do like Atlas Sound. Also, Faust or Venom P. Stinger, Calexico or The Walkmen??
All of their albums are superb.
that Monotonix will provide the moment that everyone will be talking about all weekend. They'll probably get shut down after 20 mins like at the Patton one so you'll be able to easily catch both anyway.
I presume that Calexico are going to play with their mariachi on the main stage then. This makes me very happy.
Pavilion is going to be pretty rammed for Pavement as they're only playing the once. Quite surprised at that.
but given the number of tickets that seem to be flying round on Dis, last fm..in fact any forum you look at, it might only actually be 80-90% full over the weekend.
whatever happens, there'll be a big rush after Boris finish to get a good spot for Pavement!
i REALLY want to watch all of boris' set, but i don't want to be stuck in a queue trying to get a good space for pavement.
by good space i mean where the sound isn't completely terrible...
Wooden Shjips vs TNV
BSS vs Wildbirds & Peacedrums
Sic Alps vs Mission of Burma
Atlas Sound vs Monotonix
i'm totally STOKED though
kind of want to go and watch Paranoid Park on sunday, that's lame isn't it?
It's not very good.
Can't be bothered to go. PM if interested.
and could I get a lift if you are in exchange for monies? I was planning on pulling a sickie on Monday but something's come up at work which makes that pretty much impossible. Let me know if you can help please!
FA Cup Final vs The Fiery Furnaces. Fuck.
