This includes Disc 2 of all the reissues (But - I am skipping the Peel Sessions on these discs, not the cheat and move by faster, but because I finished listening to the full Peel box set yesterday [Though I may relisten to some on the reissues because I have them in 320 MP3, whereas I only have the Peel set in 192, but I digress ] ). I am hoping to both rediscover some of my favorite Fall records that get left behind (I tend to only go back and listen to the more recent albums I was there to hear on first release ( The first Fall album released when I was a fan was, unfortunately (I was only a fan until then, it's a great album) Imperial Wax Solvent, and I listen to it frequently, 50 Year Old Man especially) and Hex Enduction Hour, This Nation's Saving Grave, and Perverted by Language (and it will be nice to hear the latter two in reissue quality, I'd only had them in their original issues, and I already had Hex is upped quality. Also, I can't wait for the three disc Nation's)
I've done a task similar to this before with Guided by Voices (Listened to all their albums, EPs, single tracks I could find, and the first Suitcase (couldn't find / afford two or three) as well as all the Pollard solo albums through Fiction Man (ie: when they weren't a main project but rather primarily GBV songs that GBV couldn't play) AND both Airport 5 Records and most of the Circus Devils albums. It made me fall in love with GBV in ways I could not imagine, and I'm hoping this does the same for The Fall.
