Recent "new" music discoveries? (JAGs permissable)
Here are few things I've found by browsing the stuff I've been sent via soundcloud http://drownedinsoundcloud.com/post/510427429/new-music
What have you found lately? Doesn't need to be incredibly new, just new to you/most of the world's population.
And if you've made anything, share it here so we can all take a listen.

http://sonicrouter.blogspot.com/2010/04/download-mount-kimbie-serged-faltydl.html
Free download. They might be new to you unless you read my posts to often.
Clubroot mix: http://sonicrouter.blogspot.com/2010/04/interview-clubroot-lo-dubs.html
Dark, muggy sounds with loads of space. I either want to listen to it in the dead of the night or in the hot heat, its strange like that. But then he might not be new either his debut album happened last year and he's got another one coming pretty soon. If you don't wana download the mix and listen he's got a teaser/trailor for his new album here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIDgH3CIY8Q
I'm quite excited about
Shana Tova - http://www.myspace.com/shanatova
and
Bronze Medals - http://www.myspace.com/bronzemedals
who are flying the flag for a kind of alt pop/rock with clever guitars round my way.
Also, sort of a JAG seeing as I'm putting them on in Brum (April 25) but Castrovalva are an awesome recent discovery. People definitely ought to see them on this tour.

(there isn't any idea behind lettering each different collection i just sent some to a friend as 'just A collection' and decided that going alphabetically from there was easiest)
