WHY! HOW! WHEN!
ATP curators anyone?
Which wasn't as good as Nation of Ulysses anyway. Could care more.
This is something i'd be bothered about....
Two good albums and one unbelievably good album.
That's a better strike rate than most bands, NoU amongst them.
...also, I was listening to 'Songs to fan the flames......' in the car whilst I was driving home from work this morning.
i go to bed, wake up and log on DiS only to discover that Refused are reforming.
In short, I think I made this happen.
So, yeah, I'll probably go see them if they tour
is there something else, other than that site?
apparently there's a reissue of TSOPTC in May, could be related to that... it seems weird that they would reform.
will do some digging
one splash screen automatically equals a reformation? Not just Epitaph releasing a live DVD or the reissue of TSOPTC? I'll believe it when I see it.
Apparently it's probably not a reform, just a rerelease.
good news indeed!!! the shape of punk to come sounds still fresh after so many years. yeah, welcome back!
his trousers in the video are rather excellent
thought they sucked back in the day and they will suck now...stay dead.
should stay dead. there's some magic in that.
then Epitah are utter, utter dicks.
So I'm kind of hesitant to believe you. That'd be cool though I guess, I'd go see 'em.
i'll wager they play reading and leeds. maybe headline that little tent that does the punkish stuff.
as everyone will says, i would prefer nation of ulysses. or ink and dagger.
I doubt it. They are literally fucking dead.
very very true.
I believe that this is the kind of thing that the phrase 'ya dancer' was invented for.
Plus a couple of other songs
if this is an elaborate april fools joke I will be pissed.
Which I'm sure has happened at least twice before, if I'm not mistaken? Still, can dream. I doubt it'll be a reformation just because all the members seemed so dead set against the idea in the past.
they should just tour and not make new music. They might be able to catch the vibe live, but they'll never be able to make something better than TSOPTC.
Kind of RATM style then, maybe Refused can have the next Christmas #1
it's a re-release of SOPTC, with some live-disc on it. this is true. false hopes, oh well.
however in an interview (in swedish http://www.aftonbladet.se/nojesbladet/musik/article6811152.ab)
he says "is not impossible", but not happening anytime soon. He also said they were offered 3 million for a US festival show this summer but they Refused. haha, I amuse myself there.
I love Refused, but they're nowhere near large enough to justify a 3 million fee.
If it's in Swedish Krona, that's less than £300k.
That would still be a decent payday for band like Refused, but then they're not the types to care about that sort of thing.
I think it would spoil everything, unless they're sitting on an album better than TSOPTC then its not worth it.
The material they recorded post TSOPTC was some of the best of their career. Peek-a-boo? I'd love something like the Text album but with Dennis's vocals.
