George Fitzgerald [Hotflush/Doldrums-centric]
Just become acquainted with this guy via Scuba's RA podcast (incredible, by the way, the best in that series for a LONG time). He's Joy Orbisons's first signing to the Doldrums label, and is putting out a 12" on Hotflush at some point in the future with the track on Scuba's mix 'Weakness'. It's absolutely spectacular, with the same house/garage cross feeling as Joy Orbison but more darker - sweeping dub chords and techy stuff. Sounds a little like Mosca if he was from Berlin rather than London, complete with 'Gold Bricks'-style vocal slicing.
It's the second song on THIS here mix (which is excellent by the way, it also has Orbison's finest moment yet on it, 'The Shrew...')

Also, if anyone's not heard it yet, get Scuba's RA podcast. Best hour and a bit you'll spend for a while.
