Plus some bits from 'Bitte Orca'. Barbican, June 25th.
Think I may have to find my way to this...
Way ahead of you. Ever since that Stravinky (was it Stravinsky?) that time, I can't resist a decent Barbican show. Best sound in London.
anyway, what seat have you got?
That was the one!
My first thought was to get the exact same seats we had before. But the group consensus was that we should seat in the very first row downstairs - which is always a bad idea in the cinema, but it might work in the Barbican, I dunno.
And it worked for me. Gotta love the Barbican
I went to this at the Allen Room in New York on Feb 19
when David Byrne came up to me in the standby queue, gave me his spare ticket FOR FREE, and then chatted to me during the gig, as the seat was right next to him - he is the world's nicest man. (*best night of my life, by the way, by a country mile)
I shall go to this too, as should everyone else. It's amazing
P.S. Cheap seats (£15) are almost all gone, so be quick!!
How nice can he be if he got stood up? WHAT A LOSER.
It's going to be ACE.
Then The Necks at the Barbican on the Saturday. TOTALLY worth the journey from Glasgow...
I'm ridiculously excited. I love 'The Getty Address' but I haven't fully 'got' it yet. This night will make it happen.
I got tickets for this last week. Front and centre! Well, row E and slightly stage-left, but you know what I mean.
