Ten Crack Commandments
Gimme The Loot
I dont believe that Biggy was the best rapper of all time, I was just quoting that song Second Round K.O. by Canibus.
Big was great tho, ONE of the best that did it.
Friggin jam. Loved 112 back in the 90s too.
"After realizin, to master enterprisin
I ain't have ta be in school by ten, I then
Began to encounter, wit my counter-parts
On how ta burn the block apart, break it down into section
Drugs by the selection
Some use pipes, others use in-jec-tions
Syringe sold seperately, Frank the deputy..."
For some reason all my mates used to grill me for loving this song, mainly because its got 112 on it. And real hip hop heads always preffered his debut. I always found Life After Death more interesting though, more diverse i suppose.
Cant you like the more r&b leanings as well as the hard hitting? Both albums are class, and for different reasons.
Miss U was great too.
Granted, I'm not gonna roll the streets with my boys bumpin MIss U or Skys The Limit, in those instances I will lean towards Machine Gun Funk or The What type of tracks. I guarantee your friends were listening to those other ones when they were trying to scheme on some broads tho. Real talk.
Pay hommage and quit posting this garbage.
Hardest song ever.
for that grimy alliterative sound "On ya mark, get set, when I spark, ya wet, look how dark it get, when ya marked with death" is just perfect for me
anyway my jam is "warning" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lb0HImG_MU
but i listened to "born again" recently and remembered what a jam "hope you niggas sleep" is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9RstolrhcM
Born Again was pretty weak as a hole but did have some solid tracks.
That entire verse takes my breath away...astonishing!
an absolute beast
I'm not massively familiar with Biggie's work, but the 95 Freestyle is phenomenal. 1 min 47 seconds.
really only has 2 official releases, so he is pretty easy to get versed on. So you should get those, it'll be worth your money, theShipment guarantee :/
Ready To Die
Life After Death
it has non-album shit and pretty much all of his guest spots. its pretty easy to track down online
"cunt renaissance" by biggie & ra the rugged man (aka crustified dibbs)
not much for restraint, those fellas.
Always sticks in my head this one
seems he is going to be doing a new remix everyday or something
but I'll go for this one - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuXJWL0nul8
Unbelievable rapper :)
gimme the loot and things done changed, awesome!
I DONT WANNA LIVE NO MO', SOMETIMES I HEAR DEATH KNOCKIN' AT MY FRONT DO'
Probably my favorite snare on any rap song ever.
