yay or nay?
never listened to him myself. but it has plenty of really good shows and the bbc have decided to be dicks is the story...
Genuine question - I've seen online petitions being touted round before and never signed them. Same for Facebook groups et al. Are they taken into consideration from the powers that be?
I like the way that the BBC has adopted the Labour way of leaking potential policies to the public as a testing ground. 'We're thinking of doing this... Oh you don't like it, well no worries we've scrapped that idea because we listen to public opinion (we're aces aren't we? only joking, didn't mean it, honest!)'. I dunno if that's a good thing or not - democracy or senior management decision through popularity polls?
Love that the Union rep on the case is Mr Morrissey defending the cut of the Asian Network station. Speaking on behalf of 6 Music - 'And if a BBC cut kills the both of us... to die by your side....'
I did, because then at least I feel better grumbling if it does get axed as I did all I could. Even sent an email n'all.
