My girlfriend is in Abu Dhabi at the moment and sent me a link to these guys as I was going on about local hiphop after the Riyad and Die Antwoord threads. Apparently these guys are the first hiphop artists to make an international impact from the UAE. It's not the most alternative hiphop, think more along the lines of 2Pac (they even have a song about their mother). In their lyrics they rap about living in the Middle East and tell us that not all Muslims are terrorists. Being from Yemen originally it's good to know that there is a musical counterpart to the political stigmatising.
