I know it's for charity, but COME ON.
much for the Who?
£50 to see The Cure play at Islington Academy for charity. It was more than worth it but Suede? Hmmm...I probably wouldn't bother if you've already seen them
I read it's £55 standing and £38 seating, and tickets go on sale on Friday...
Friend of a friend of a friend works in high places...but we still had to pay unfortunately and it was £50.
It better be bloody worth it.
its for kids with cancer, so it's already worth it!
Whining because you have to pay for a charity gig? Oh dear.
I was happy to pay for it, honest. It's just I hope for that much that it is really good.
either way, still a bit much! fuck charity, sounds a bit like 'for charity' and some in the pockets also at that much!
for longer than they did with... plus there is always that charity angle.
My answer to that would be - you were a freakin' great band with 2 killer albums under your belt, then Butler left and you released shit after shit after shit so no, without Butler = not the Suede we want and telling us they have reformed....well,
with exact same setup, minus Codling. Alas, no Bernard. But it was pre-Coming Up, so the setlist was all excellent old songs. Saw them loads of times since then so feel no need to see them one more time. If it was with Bernard though.....hell, I'd sell my gran, steal her back then sell her again.
