Nearly all of the 'big next thing' artists are usually shit, whose music
can be used in mobile phone ads. Marina and the diamonds fit into this brilliantly. They are easily the shittest thing I've heard for ages.
she's fairly hot
selling point 2
She's uber hot.
Stupid hot.
Her voice makes me sick.
Though I've had that Hollywood song stuck in my head FOR DAYS. Admittedly good video though.
I have to admit I kind of like 'Hollywood'
it seems to come from a the same branch of ludicrously overwrought pop music that most of Lady Gaga output does and is totally brilliant as a result.
Same here
the rest of her stuff does nothing for me, but 'Hollywood' is a cracker
Yep,
I don't get it.
I understood the likes of Little Boots, La Roux, Florence et al last year (and I actually like those three as much as I can like modern pop music...), but I really just do not get M & The Ds at all.
I like her
'Obsessions' and 'Mowgli's Road' were at various times last year within my 'current top 5'. 'I Am Not A Robot' is a top tune too (y)
I have nothing against her,
she makes good music in my opinion, much better than the constant repetition that would have been in the charts before.
fuck is this
a) i like hollywood
b) i want to do her
c) i might have heard another song by her that's ok. but regardless, i want to do her.
