Atilla Csihar 'Void Ov Voices'!!!!!!
and Necro Deathmort.
but need to come down from Manchester for it and still haven't made proper arrangements
theres quite a bit on spotify. is Bergtatt ok to start at?
Nattens Madrigal is my personal favorite but Teachings in Silence is apparently more relevant to what type of stuff they will probs be doing. I actually haven't heard anything by them from the last 5 or so years though.
and the first I got of theirs. Fennesz guest produces on some tracks, other bits sort of sound like David Sylvian's solo stuff. I like the early black metal stuff, and their pseudo soundtrack ambient stuff. Perdition city is also good, but also pretty cheesy - there's a lot of euro trip hop in there. Blood Inside is the only one of theirs I don't like - an over produced prog mess, in a really bad way.
and I really enjoy listening to First Decade in the Machines as well
Think most of what they played was from In Blood Inside and Perdition City and they were brilliant
and there's no hope in hell they're playing the BM stuff i guess?
and if i want to get into their ambient/post-BM stuff where do i start?
cheers, apologies for all the questions.
so start listening to teachings in silence --> Blood Inside --> Shadows of the Sun
that should get you acquinted
Show in Greece last year they did "Capitel I:I Troldskog Faren Vild" off Bergtatt, but I suspect that was a one off. Some guys they knew there (support band maybe?) convinced them to do it.
