Now called "Renegades" I think. Or so the intertubes tells me.
quite like the song.
They're not amazing tunes but for what they are the 2 songs kicking about are ok. They're both just lacking in any substance (I'm sure plenty would claim that about all of Feeder's work).
Hmmm I think my 14 year old self would be very disapointed Feeder weren't my favourite band forever.
when The Alarm changed their name for one single so they could pretend to be a new band, had a top 40 single and started claiming they'd beaten age discrimination in pop even though the only people that bought it were tipped off Alarm fans and it hadn't had any more coverage than usual?
Except they're just doing a small tour of small venues and selling £35 packages to get tickets (T-shirt, EP included aswell).
I was initially under the impression it was all going to be a low key affair but I suppose if you have no record label, want to raise some funds to record and have dwindling mainstream appeal you've got to make sure you can sell your expensive packages!
I used to love feeder when I was 16/17 as well, but tend to find their old stuff hasn't aged well, first couple of albums aside. Last time I paid any attention to them was 'tumble and fall', which was crap, rest of that album was pretty rubbish as well. So at least this is quite an improvement.
quite like both of them.
prefer this. i'll be at the manchester gig, name change is just a way of trying out new material without having to play buck rogers and the other hits. although a facebook message hinted at tangerine.
they just wont ever stop shitting over good memories of Gran Turismo
And yeah, I also thought they were the most innovative band around when I was 14 too.
but I still love watching them live.
I think Comfort in Sound is one of the best British albums of recent times but has gone under the radar
part of me really wants to go, it would be a total nostalgia-fest. Not sure about their reinvented sound though.
JUST PLAY 'JUST A DAY', 'BUCK RODGERS', AND THEN LEAVE.
best song they've done but a good margin imo
when Busted arrived.
life's just a piece of fruit
