the way she sings certain words in that kind of reggae phrasing.
Looks the pair of them were dipped in glue and then ram raided All Saints... wtf - she does sound like her Dad and I don't mean that as a compliment - she sounds like a bloke. Honestly, would any of you pay money for this track???
of anyone related to fucking Sting
I was really confused before I looked up the video, because I knew she was a girl, but wtf?
I think I got put off just by the, I think, Indy write-up that tried to sell her music as a Lily Allen-style update of reggae, a genre that needs very little updating whatsoever and especially by white English people, but it's like Kleerup producing a Micachu song originally written for Lykke Li.
I'm not particularly fussed about the rest of her stuff on youtube as it sounds a little too focus-grouped, but this cod-reggae thing isn't too bad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuyH2XeOPaM
is Coco Sumner actually a really pretty bloke with long hair? Sorry something quite frankly cring worthy about this - "You never tried my rice and peas"??? WTF indeed. LOL!
i like the tune. any remixes ?
sounds like a lever has been pulled on a machine and it's puked out a vaguely zeitgeisty noughties electro-tinged Gal-Song to me.
Why would such a thing even exist? How can anyone guarantee that level of productivity?
I wasn't even sure what her gender was.
