That is silly..
finally, properly jumping the shark.
but wasn't keen on the venue, am I being harsh on it or is the sound a bit all over the show?
Never seen Panda Bear so sorely tempted by this.
we did there a month or two back
For this, I am seriously excited
I really like Heaven as a venue.
seem to remember it was good for The Tears when I saw them there way back when too
but live I can't imagine him being anything but utterly dull. Every review I've read of his live show seems to have been bored and said it was forgettable.
I'll give this a miss.
I'm just gonna wait for Primavera though.
I'm a bit over-excited about it
panda bear live at atp new york and it's incredible, and thats with sub-standard sound quality. i would definitely want to see him live based on how good it is.
I've already got tickets to see this band in Brighton the very same night. Some American lot called Grizzly Bear.
Oh, the irony!
i was literally reaching for my card to order a ticket until i read your post. i have tickets to the same gig...!
i have seen panda bear's live show before, and it was like being underwater for an hour. in a good way! i can come to terms with the price tag, but i WILL NOT give seetickets a fiver for their troubles.
list of ticketsellers for this:
wegottickets (sold out)
ticketweb (going on sale soon)
i don't mind throwing a few quid a ticketweb as they tend to treat me in a humane manner
link just went live:
they've just tried to mug me for £6.65 in fees. whose cock do i need to pull to just buy a reasonably priced ticket for what will likely be a reasonably nice show? if i wanted to throw £40 at taking my woman for a night out, i'd go to see chris rea.
gigantic are the most reasonable and provide the best service, use them!
... despite being unemployed in three days :(
I became obsessed with Person Pitch about a year after everyone else and have been desperate to see him since, so I'm very happy.
bad, bad times. And she's blatantly just going to perve on Noah Lennox.
happy. This followed by Grizzly Bear/Beach House two days later. Most exciting.
have climbed down off my hind legs and got my sort code out for this. i spent £5.50 per ticket INCLUDING FEES earlier for fujiya and miyagi in brighton. i have now paid more than that soley in fees for this concert. if i'm still angry about it in a month then i'll put my tickets on ebay and play my part in this wicked little industry!
Amazing / terrible timing - going to be so poor.
hes done with the Person Pitch style, apparently.
but live Deakin has surfaced...
If he's gonna play anywhere outside London? Like BRIGHTON? I heard OIB wanted to put him on but he wanted ALOT of money. This is the same night as Grizzly Bear in Brighton :(
could panda bear charge??
I dont think this is a proper tour, hes never had a real solo one, and the last few albums have been about missing family and stuff. I imagine hes aiming high and just taking what you can.
shows to date, so no not a lot
just about sold out of their allocation now
i really want to go but also have a grizzly bear ticket for brighton...
so the only ones left are with the venue; through ticketweb or over the phone
Kurt Vile and Kode9 are supporting. Great bill!
Panda Bear & Kode9! Now there's an unexpected line-up from heaven.
with Stellar Om Source supporting - small amount of tickets still available. times/tickets here: http://www.atpfestival.com/newsview/1112011123.php
