one of my favorite bands of this decade i think, hope they have another album soon.
Because I really really couldn't stand that bit.
havent seen the film yet, would you rate it at all?
or were they doing some weird take on their stuff?
The film's good if you like ATP. It's not much more than footage of people being idiots intercut with some good ATP performances, though. If you were expecting behind the scenes and stuff you won't get it.
What the Toll Tells is one of the most under-rated albums there's ever been. Their latest was slightly disappointing, but it was always gonna be difficult to follow up WTTT.
I hope they're back soon, too.
adam stephens has a solo album coming out soon i think.
Never really quite lived up to it on record.
Although I once listened to 'steady rollin' about 15 times in a row.
I have, too
Adam's really quite frightening up close, so intense as spits out the lyrics
That comment shoulda been re: best live bands.
Steady Rollin, Threnody and My Madonna are among my favourite songs
My Madonna, Las Cruces Jail, Steady Rollin', Long Summer Day and Threnody are all brilliant songs!
I've seen them live twice and really enjoyed it both times!
This, plus Crow Jane
got to see adam stephens on his own in galway, got to chat with him for a while about music , he is a proper gent showed me all his equipment also. The scenery of farewell is also a great ep
ia also amazing...
Nothing to You, My Madonna, Train that Stole my Man. GOLD.
Equally good live and on record, think throes is probably my favourite, but all their records are quality.
saw them at the Barfly a few years ago and they were incredible. Waves of Grain is my favourite song, properly epic and I used to listen to it over and over again at night.
