Jesus and Mary Chain
Primal Scream
Oasis
My Bloody Valentine
He's tipping the Grants and the Vortex AGAIN!?
Jeez... They're both awful, awful bands.
His tone is really nausea-inducing, isn't it?
I like what I've heard of Toro Y Moi, Male Bonding (surely everyone in London has seen them play a couple of times by now) and Washed Out. The rest are pretty ordinary, to be honest.
Ah, The Grants
I remember McGee's first post about them - not done much since, have they? Guess people in small clubs are still being shocked to hear their stadium sized anthems. Willing to be bet they'd actually be more popular if they didn't have such a shit name.
Dead Skeletons I like
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsyrOGRxF0E
is a fair indication of what they're all about
i'm impressed he hasn't written all that in capitals
Ras G
He's been around for quite a while and had an album out this year on FLying Lotus' Brainfeeder label but I've not got round to grabbing it yet. He's good, the remix he did of Clouds on Ramp the other year was brilliant.
