Suprisingly "indie". Is MPP going to be on everyone's?
Are you not going to make a comment about how pointless an album list is for a dance music website and how they should've just done a singles one?
PS Why does everyone rate that Fuck Buttons record? It sounded like over compressed gash to me.
good list though. a few good looking albums i've yet to check out too..
As if it's not enough that we're being subjected to endless lists from the likes of NME and Pitchfork, must there be a similar deluge from a bunch of sites and blogs no-one else but the writers give a shit about, too?
However Resident Advisor is not one of these, as anyone with half a brain will know.
(however accurate they may be!), in the last 10 minutes there have been 1220 RA members and 7036 guests online.

Given what a year it's been for dubstep, I might have expected to see a bit more of that, and to be honest, I am familiar with/enjoy more of Boomkat's tracks of the year, which I guess have less of a techno vibe.
Definitely have to check out Bruno Ponsato. Sounds immense
Anyway here's the list: http://www.residentadvisor.net/feature.aspx?1122
Having a look through it again, there is a lot of dubstep stuff. I think I was just expecting certain tracks; Justify, No More Tears, Naked Mario Kart etc. etc. and not seeing them read as only a little bit of dubstep.
I guess when it comes to boomkat, reading their recommended releases every week, meant that I'm familiar with most of that list. RA one gives me a load of stuff to check out though.
the RA list is about 10% dubstep, and barely any funky in sight. this is pretty squarely house and techno oriented; but i'm ok with that. most dubstep/funky lists are basically reordering tracks i've already got so i don't really need another. the kassem mosse and oni ayhun 12"s are great if people haven't got em yet
