then I think you might have completely missed the point of it
damn being internet incompetent
what should we put on it?
i was thinking of doing it a bit more like the way famous people have stylists, some kinda music consultancy to the stars?! but done online and, like, get fans to send it to 'em via twitter, etc...
and hope that the Obserever don't hear about it.
Fucker needs a Spotify invite
Sting is a dick. Have you seen that beard?
Can we please leave it there?
People do discover new music, but it's very difficult. Modern music to most people sounds strange and abstract and painful to the ear, but nonetheless I think it's worth extolling."
Strange and abstract? Please.
exactly the opposing sentiment. Every movie, TV commercial, restaurant, Internet blog, etc., I think, "Oh wow ...haven't heard that before." Hmm.
Well, I guess if I had Sting's sexual stamina I might be outta the loop too.
It doesn't sound like Sting himself is having a problem finding new music. He's saying other people don't search for novelty, or don't feel the search is rewarded.
It's not true for me, sure, but I do know there's plenty of people who don't bother searching for new (read: interesting/innovative) stuff. And those people won't be found on this website, so won't be voicing their opinion on it any time soon.
everyone now thinks that they're 'really into new music' whereas actually it's just the media and the record companies consistently putting new artists (read: products) out.
record companies have also changed their tactics, an artist will now have been talked about in the press and on blogs for months before they actually release any music, which means people feel as if they were aware of them before anyone else.
...what a wrestler thinks about music?
