i wasn't too keen on the Krauty element though

It was alright wasn't it? Didn't seem as dark as some of the stuff on Third, but pretty nice, synthy, krauty stuff.

It's got an 80s John Carpenter film vibe- Morricone or Tangerine Dream but sped up.
but the drumming does put me off.. there's something very discomforting about them, they seem really off kilter and behind step. I suppose you could say that's the desired effect. I also think the guitar at the end is a bit wasted
that vocal melody/chorus though, with the keys.. that's some good shit
