Algernon Cadwallader
Can anyone recommend me more bands in the same vein as AC?
I like twiddly guitars.

This Town Needs Guns
Maps + Atlases
TTNG
Owls
These might all be glaringly obvious though.
Algernon Cadwallader are really good.
I really like Native as well, they are quite similar and very twiddly.
Joie de Vivre
Snowing
Street Smart Cyclist
Kickball
Boy Problems
Grown Ups
Yo Man Go! (maybe not, but you should listen to them anyway)
You can get the Snowing EP and Yo Man Go discog for free from http://www.ifyoumakeit.com/albums/all
Plus all the Kinsella related stuff, obvs...
thank you all for the suggestions. I probably should have mentioned other stuff like anything Kinsella or from the UK I'm already aware of. Good link Colesy!
street smart would be my pick of the bunch
empire! empire! (I was a lonely estate) are good too, hightide hotel, by surprise, etc, etc... tbh if you go on algernon's myspace and just click on the top friends you'll find 100 bands of a similar nature hovering about, although none of them seem to stick around for longer than about 5 songs...
we sang songs
1994!
monument
street smart cyclist
and obviously people like american football and owls and cap'n jazz and joan of arc
I second Snowing in a big way
Really enjoying their demo/EP thing
