YIPPEE!!
hurrah!
now thats something to really look forward to!
But if the tendency continues
it will probably be shit
oi
http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/4153/arigtfo.gif
but for real,
apparently it really does sound very much like the stuff on the debut.
And for that reason I am ridiculously excited.
they have no reason to feel embarrassed about our love to admire... it's a great record...
but still cannot wait for this! :D
Yes, but Oasis can't be original anymore for shit
When Interpol say this I honestly think they mean progressing but in a way that expands upon their first album, instead of trying to imitate their first album.
I'm so happy to see this news.
Middling
was being more than kind. When compared to the first two it's completely unlistenable. A bad day at the office for banks and co.
But a new one in the offing eh? Fantastic!!
As morrissey would say....Please please please let me get what i want. ;)
WHAT'S "EARLY NEXT YEAR"!? JAN 1ST? YAAAAAAAY
This will be shit.
Interpol's last album sucked arse and the singer's solo stuff is laughable. They should quit before they fuck their history up like Dylan.
I can't wait for Paul Banks to do a Christmas album
in 2052
Oh god not this again
I liked Our Love to Admire a lot, but yeah Julian Plenti is stupid.
this is the best news in so so long
sounds promising
but they've burned me twice now, so I'll be keeping my hopes and expectations in check.
All 3 albums are blinding. For the OLTA haters go back and listen to it again now, you will be surprised in a good way...
who...
...cares
silly question to pose in a thread celebrating their imminent return
really should've thought that one through a bit better, hmm?
They'd be even more boring if they did NOTHING but sing about the evils of
HMV and EMI in every single one of their fucking songs ever, though - wouldn't they?
they really need to...
up their game on this one, the last one wa sa massive disappointment after two fine albums.
OLTA
has Pioneer to the Falls on it so how can it be a "middling" album? That is probably their best ever song.
Be it like Bright Lights, Antics or OLTA I don't care. This news is very exciting.
OLTA was not that bad...
still, hope the new one´s better. Can´t wait!
I am prepared to admit that all talk about music is based on nothing other than personal opinion...
...but anyone who dismisses TOTBL quite seriously does need therapy - no, I ACTUALLY mean that, no tongue in cheek intended at all.
Superb album - one of the finest I've ever heard and I listen to a lot. It's got shocking lyrics but that doesn't matter one jot. The new one could never touch it but I hope it goes some way to doing so. This one is make or break for me. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind OLTA but another on a par with 'Antics' will serve to remind me that they are not losing form.
another post that's just to say
that TOTBL was an incredible album, one of my two favourites of all time, along with The Decline Of British Sea Power
