This post is inspired by the amount of shite that is now starting to clog the shelves of your high street music shops in time for Christmas.
Why is it some brilliant bands don't have a "Best of" album while some genuinely dreadful acts do. And don't say it's because of commercial success, cause I've seen a "Best of Sandi Thom" cd in HMV!!! (I'm guessing it only had one track on it)
So set the record straight - name a band that should have a "Best of" but don't, and (if you're feeling particularly passionate about it) what the ideal tracklist would be. Try to keep the tracklist to around 15 tracks if poss.
