Mash ups....
hmmm isn't this essentially something people have been doing since disco/hip hop in the seventies using turntables, cutting up tapes and creating loops, samplers etc? Hardly a revelation.
I don't mind hearing the odd 'mash up', but I was recently talking to a dj who plays them for the entire night - sounds incredibly annoying to me.
Who mentioned anything about it being a revelation?
