Against all science and popmusic axioms, the BFB became less good the less Country they became, but they were still one of the most consistently pleasing groups around and one of the best nights out in town.
I feared the worst when they signed to Cooking Vinyl, but it will be a real shame to see them go. The last of those Peel-tastic Track & Field groups that sprung up 5 or so years ago (see Tompaulin, Saloon etc).
Still we'll give them a good send off tonight. Anyone going??
