Next Friday we’ve got an extra special Chibuku party for you. Their last gig in their hometown of Liverpool went down an absolute treat, and this time here at Fabric will be no different, bringing you Zombie Nation and Alex Metric in room one, along with a live set from Japanese Popstars, Ali B and Chibuku resident Dom Chung.
Drum n bass is on the books in a big way in room two – The ever-legendary Mr. Lincoln Barrett, aka High Contrast tops the bill, need we say more?! Dillinja, Blame, Klute, and one of the fastest growing names in drum n bass in 2008/9 – Brookes Brothers are also in room two. No, they can’t sell you a suit, but they can mash the place up with their soulful and big-noise engaging sets – not to be missed!
A firm favourite will be in full force in room three - when he’s not annihilating the floor at Low End Theory in LA, you can catch him playing all over the gaff from Budapest and Berlin to Singapore to Leeds. More importantly, The Motherfucking Gaslamp Killer will be here for the Chibuku party on Friday. We caught up with GLK for a chit chat – you can read all about it here:
Also in room three is 16bit, Lazer Sword doing their live thing, and Rich Furness – another Northwest legend, playing everything, bar nothing, from the dance music spectrum.
Nice one la
