Felt a bit sorry for this thread.
Cheers.

Well we are looking forward to this muchly...
Although if anyone knows anyway we can get there from Brighton/London for under 80 quid that would be nice!

would make a joke about the event and all things happening within the event being broken, analogous to this website
but can't think of one. Cheers.
I'm coming, and lookng forward to it...
even if no-one else seems to be...
I'm going
see you there Dan
Looking forward to it...
See you there...
In a related question.
does anyone know any cheap hotels or hostels near the deaf instituate we could stay, hotels we have found are a little steep so far, hoping for a bargain! thanks
Hatters Hostel
http://www.hattersgroup.com/index.php
It's in town so about a 15 minute walk from the Deaf Institute but pretty nice and cheap.
:'( im so proud of you, you've grown up so fast...
:)

Can anyone clarify the 'ticket' arrangements
I bought a wristband from Seatwave, and then got several emails saying that they were concerned 'tickets' have not been sent out, but that they are on the case. Then silence.....
I'm presuming that i take proof of purchase to [wherever it is]* and get my wristband.
1) Is this true?
2) Does the same apply for people buying tickets just for this event?
* Seatwave website not responding (again)
I'd quite like to know this as well...
I've bought tickets just for this show, rather than a wristband.
I got an email earlier which said I had to go to the midland hotel beforehand to pick up a wristband(?).
Do I have to do that, or can I turn up on the day with proof of my order, etc etc? Because I'm probably not going to have chance to collect the before the collection place closes at 7. Any ideas?
Thanks...
Position now clear for wristbands
Please remember to bring the following with you to collect:
Any form of photo identification, such as a drivers licence or passport.
A copy of your order confirmation email.
Where can I collect my wristband(s) and when?
Collection will be at the:
Midland Hotel, 16 Peter Street, Manchester, M60 2DS
Enter the hotel via the main entrance on Peter Street and head to the In The City information booth.
Opening hours:
Saturday 14h00-19h00
Sunday - Tuesday 10h00 - 19h00
but I can't help in respect of single event tickets
Yeah, I got this as well, even though I ordered single event tickets.
I'm not going to be able to make the collection point by 7. Any ideas if I'm definitely going to need to do this? Sean?
I've emailed the ITC folk for you
Cheers, that would have been my next step
...But I thought I'd see if someone on here would know... Thanks for your help..
From the horse's mouth...
"Nobody that has bought anything will not get in. All they need
is their name (and I.D as a backup would be recommended). Midland for
wristbands, venue door for shows - easy!"
So: if you have a ticket for the DiS show, come to The Deaf Institute on the night with your name and ID.
If you have a weekend wristband, head to the Midland hotel.
excellent
Thanks for that...
Bump!
This is on Monday. It's going to be super fun.
Looking forward to ITC. Really want to see The Drums, I am such a fanboy. Sorry Sean.
Is not kind of unprecedented for a band to play in Manchester two days running?
It's like a mini-London!
I definitely want to catch at least one of those. Whether I'll be able to remains to be seen.
TONIGHT!
Who's coming?
This was last night...
... and was really fun. Thanks for coming, saw a fair few DiSsers .
All the bands were brilliant, but special, big props to Esben & The Witch for playing sans-drum machine and still being fucking awesome.
