Scene Not Herd is back: bringing yet another night of musical frivolity and harmonious chaos to bright, young minds. Hoorah!
Young Athletes League-This dissident dance duo utilises synth and samples to produce a unique and uplifting sonority. Their melodies covey a warm, elevating aura that exudes a frenetic sensibility, whilst maintaining a comprehensive and discerning air, reverberating with rich, magical beats.
Fair Ohs- With island melodies, distorted guitars, and massive hooks, these guys will make you wish it was still warm enough to hit the coast. Fair Ohs are mostly ex hardcore kids who decided that 60s garage punk was as just as much fun as 80’s hardcore. Jubilant, jingly and jangly these guys are definitely worth a listen.
Plug-This melodious twosome purvey catchy, cultivated beats with buoyant, upbeat vocal reveries to create simple, refined harmonies that resonate vivacity and eloquence at their core. Check them out via their myspace.
Penelope Edmund-This distinctive young lady plays a kind of music that is really all her own, drawing from a wide range of influences from punk and electro to experimental. She really is an exceptionally rare talent and you can bet your bottom dollar you won’t have seen anything like this before! Brilliant!
