Homage to a Shame

Women who love men...
Some INTERESTING camera angles going on, but it's all about the audio really. For about £30 its a bit of a steal :)
where Gambler is made to stand on the wall. Ugh.
It's rather good though, and it sounds AMAZING. It was pretty special at the cinema too.
and to have a face meltingly devastating version of everyone into position
but i as yet have no delivery confirmation or parcel....hope i get it this week...pre-ordered it months ago!!
It'd always been my least favourite of the albums though - what a lovely suprise!
It has 1/0? I'm in. Before this DVD came out, there was a grand total of ONE decent video of this track that I could find.
haven't watched it yet, but the 'see you in stoke!' in the booklet made me smile from ear to ear.
I'm from Stoke, I don't get it :(
Please explain it to me?
they played the best set i've ever seen. during which my mate was REALLY drunk and kept shouting 'see you in stoke!' at them. mike kept pissing himself... so chuffed it's in there, and last on the list too!
if i am at least it's nice to see the word stoke in a slightly positive light!
"The 'Stoke' quote relates to memorable night attempting (unsuccessfully) to get into our pre-booked Travelodge in Knutsford. It was 5am. Most of us were shitfaced. One person in the band (i wonder if you can guess who) was particularly shitfaced. After repeated attempts to gain entry, our hero was heard bellowing helpful instructions at us, such as 'why don't you just unlock the fuckin' door?' and 'Just fuckin call reception!!!'. When we explained that these were the first things we'd tried to do upon arrival, and perhaps he might like to shut the fuck up, our hero turned on his heels, headed for the van and uttered the immortal line, 'Fuck this, see you in Stoke!'.
Why is this funny?
The gig the next night was in Southampton."
I'll bet it's great. I'm particularly looking forward to the Music For Nurses encores. My favourite Oceansize release, to be sure.
