there's no way I'm buying tickets for this with a possibility of them getting announced for the ATP when this sells out.
at the festival, right?
you mean sun the 2nd?
people should probably go for the monday if they wanna do both...
Which is to say, is this Stooges:Raw Power show happening at the ATP Festival in addition to the Hammersmith shows, because then I wouldn't (necessarily) need to buy pricey (if deserved) tickets to side shows if I want to go to the festival.
Surely it would be the weekend after if it's consistent with this year
Why tomorrow? No money no money.
I'm still broke after Green Man but i NEED to go to this.
that this is going to be complete dog s**t, therefore a waste of money.
And miss out on it being probably brilliant.
...get my car insured at the gig?
and on a sunday or monday night? bah.
i'll let them off in that case. not sure how great suicide will be in their old age, but i'm sure that raw power will still be pretty special, even without ron asheton. hopefully tickets won't sell out in warp speed.
When they played in 2005. I mean they were amazing in their heyday but that was beyond embarassing. Avoid.
Am I the only one that thinks that getting in the other guitarist so soon after Ron Asheton's death is a bit weird?
But you do realise that James Williamson was the guitarist (and co-writer I think) on Raw Power whereas Ron played bass. I'm willing to believe that Iggy wouldn't have done these shows if this weren't the case.
for the 'Blah Blah Blah' Don't Look Back.
well, surely Jason and/or Sonic would pay money to be on this bill, so...
Got my tickets for the Sunday - it's bank holiday weekend right?
yes i believe it is a bank holiday :-)
going to be on the pocket raping seetickets, or will stargreen and wegottickets get it?
otherwisde, am in hammersmith next week, may risk getting it from the box office.
dont think hammersmith apollo gigs are compatible with wgt if i recall correctly
but it all depends how fast they sell, i wouldnt hang around too long
Going both nights. It better be good!!!
which suits me cos seetickets are cunts
damn seetickets putting them sale slightly before gigantic, cost me and extra 75p!!! need to learn patience.
ah well, worked out well for me. Wonder if it'll sell out today?
... tho when i went to the monday the order bit wasn't there. MY gf last night was saying how she thinks it will sell out really quickly etc which must have shaken me even though I convinced her it wouldn't be that popular! oh well.
Would always choose to use somewhere else then seetickets but to be fair when ever I have used them they have never let me down.
.. I now worked out, 45p would have been nicer, anything over 60p extra is a rip.
£38.70 for me on See; would have been £38.25 on Gigantic.
.. £72.45 for 2 on see, £71.25 for 2 on Gigantic
This makes sense. (y)
So these dates well definitely not clash with an ATP weekend?
I've got tickets for Monday, but I'd like to do Sunday as well.
definitely no clash
Looks like Sunday as well then.
bugger. I'll have to hope some surface nearer to the time.
£12 left in my bank account :(
And might I just add that I now think that Gigantic are a bunch of cunts. If you buy a stalls ticket the postal cost is £5.25 but if you buy a circle ticket it's £1.75. Fair enough the £5.25 gives you special delivery but they both have the same face value so why the different postal methods.
Please can more ATP events use Stargreen and WeGottickets as they have the more reasonable charges, rather than giving See and Gigantic first dibs.
PS. I know that WeGottickets couldn't be used for this gig.
