New Order
I really like it
It works its way in after a few listens.
Certainly not what I was expecting but I don't think it is bad, indeed I think it is promising for the album.
And is there much wrong with New Order?
had
to stop listening at "if there ever was a god here..."
deep assholes will love it.
It's shambolic
and that's coming from a self-professed Editors fan. All this talk of going 'electronic' and 'futuristic' and the best they can offer is a cheap Depeche Mode knock-off, 4 minutes of repetitive, shallow-as-a-pond, synth abuse. Agreed with Miikka, that "if there ever was a God here/he'd have raised a hand by now" couplet is horribly clunky.
