Would you say?
for example (imagine typical cheesy american accents);
"hey wanna come over? i've got the new Beatles rock band game, it's pretty rad"
"yeah sure, i don't really know about the Beatles, i hear they are an oldies sorta band, but i really love rock band, WOO!"
"oh man, i frickin LOVE this game, and these Beatles guys fucking RULE. i'm getting my ass straight on to Piratebay and getting me all their shit, yo."
this is my argument and i'm sticking to it.
Who are the Beatles anyways, yo?
but supposedly the game reduces the actual tunes to mere background music, and it all gets lost in the whole
the trailer =
plays up the beatles' whole story, and the vibe of hey! *actually* playing as if you were in the band and all, but does that then help get kids/whoever into the records?
i hope so. because you know.. they were fucking brilliant and everything.
they're being eventually added to the itunes store and the anthology style box set is being released soon.
I figured that they were the one band in the world no one needs to be introduced to. Either you love their music and will never move beyond it, or you used to like it a long time ago and have moved beyond it/are totally sick of it.
Does that fit into your black-and-white musical views? [<<Two pointer right there. Fuck you.]
and I shan't be buying this game (obviously). I think the only people who'd buy it would be fans, because why would anyone else buy a game with only one band that they don't know rather than the same game with songs by lots of different bands?
LONG SENTENCE ALERT
hadn't thought of that.
