Oasis
Liam and Noel were chilling out watching Man City yesterday evening.
Absolute disgrace
They've done gigs without Liam before, why not tonight? They should offer a full refund to everyone who attended.
Even to the ones who weren't planning to watch them?
srs question
do festivals have to offer refunds if headliners pull out? I'm sure I've read of it happening before...
Snow Patrol
brother
yep
I thought you liked One Day Like This
The scary thing is I actually agree with you for large portions of that list. Planet Sound described the Saturday as one of the worst lineups V has ever had
Joe Lean And The Jing Jang Jong
They're still going?
Seriously?
There's some good acts on there.
^Buried under a GIANT MOUNTAIN
of shit.
Being in the biggest band in the world,
when you let people down, course it's gonna hurt.
But the band's been through a lot, and as long as we, their loyal fans, follow them through the thick and thin, everything'll be dandy.
M4I
It's been a long time since Oasis were the biggest band in the world
were they ever really?
huge sales in europe aside, they never really cracked north america like U2 or Coldplay did.
True
But at their peak, 95 / 96ish, there was no way of avoiding them (I remember Liam getting a haircut being front page news at one point) in a way that's not really comparebale to any band these days. Though I suppose that was still very much a UK thing, as you say.

Anon
oasis shuld split and let noel do some music without his monkey brothers shitty drawl all over it
Thats the only way anything of even marginal interest might come from the Gallagher brothers these days.
I'm surprised Noel has let his brother off his songwriting for this long. I can't see how Liam is anything other than utterly talentless.
*live off
Oasis = Poor-Mans Who tribute band.

Does Tom Clarke wake up each and every day and think "Wonder how I can prove I'm a tumorous little ass-weasel today?" ?
Ironic considering the Gallaghers slagging them off for pulling as one of their Wembley supports at short notice. If there anything more sad than 'rockstar' who licks Liam Gallaghers arse? Doesn't he realise Oasis have been utterly irrelevant for 10 years?!
what is relevant now? Just so I know
Er how about
Animal Collective, Future Of The Left, Sunset Rubdown, The XX?
yeah, they're all over the news all the time
and now france
