Songs good to these ears.
I just posted about this, must have been writing it when you sent it....oh well....
there's a lot of buzz about some ASCII text that accompanies the release.
seems to suggest (and if the text contained wasn't written by the band then someone is *damned* good at imitating their style and humour) that there might be a proper release out this Monday, speculation going on to say it'll be an EP and might be named Wall Of Ice (the tags on the end of the MP3 title suggest this)
All this does need to be taken with a pinch of salt - hardcore radiohead fans can look a little too deep sometimes - but it does seem like there might be something in it.
But at the mo I'll take it with a pinch of salt.
just what era is it from. sounds recent, i suppose. will be much better in higher quality.
That would be pretty great getting some new Radiohead material, hopefully there's some truth in the speculation. I'll check this when I get home.
told yah so :)
too much like a radiohead song with the guitar lines and beats. it does sound like thom though.. also in that pdf "we're looking for talented puppeteers"..
the MP3 was encoded using the same (out of date) software as the In Rainbows MP3 releases, and contains the same ID tags written into the file (i don't speak mp3 tech, but that's the gist of what i read on another forum)...this would seem to back up the argument that the band released it themselves.
