French electronic music...Recommendations?
I watched 'The beat that my heart skipped' last night and fancy listening to some french indie/electro stuff....something a bit sexy, sultry with a bit of funk attached.
Ahem.
Any recommendations?

Poison Soluble is a good album, samples classical music, and, in parts, black metal vocals (for some reason)

I quite liked the Anoraak tune on there in a Neon Neon sort of way.
I don't know if you'd consider it funky enough but M83's Saturdays = Youth has some sexiness and sultriness, and is generally just hazy, French and brilliant.
I watched that film the other day

You cant really go wrong with Daft Punk even indie lovers have got Daft Punk since their debut album. Tellier is good too his last album was produced by one of Da Punk... The Punk solo stuff is well nice too.

Rob
Not particularly electronic - but definitely French.
"Satyred Love" is one of the best albums of the Noughties.
I can't believe...
...I forgot to mention I:Cube, he's brilliant! He's also half of Chateau Flight, & they're brilliant too.
Half of Xeno & Oaklander.
