Put some keys on that bitch
this rekkid is fucking taight
seat way back listening to Anita Baker
writin by myself smoking weed by the acre
YEAHB PUT SOME KEYS ON THAT BITCH
I think I'll put it on now, its been a while since Lil Wayne released about 8 mixtapes for a laugh he must be waiting to drop his nu-metal-esq album The Rebirth.
Fuck me how can you both hate and love an artists so much...
It's his best album and he gave it away for free. Few artists are more generous than Weezy F. Baby.
nah really I'm good
sound like a T. Rex live under my hood
betta know the tech live under my seat
put you in the ground now you live under my feet.
but dedication 2 is even better in my opinion.
It's quite good though.
those lyrics seem a bit shite to me, It may be all in his southern draawwwwl though. MF Doom shites all over him.
MF DOOM can't actually rap. A few nice lines, but he can't rap
also, the irony of somebody accusing me of P4Kism and then putting forwards DOOM as an alternative... priceless
btw, Lil Wayne is brilliant
Madvillainy is still stone cold amazing, but I don't really know if much of his stuff beyond Vaudeville Villain.
On another note, I'm downloading this mixtape for my holiday D-bag. Better be good mofo.
* beyond Vaudeville Villain has longterm appeal.
and Operation Doomsday is also amazing.
Saving the game like a memory card
Give him another shot everyone. If you're saying his lyrics "aren't poetic" then you're not used to his style and vernacular and don't understand what he's saying. That's just the stone cold truth.
fuck lil wayne. overblown wankstain
loads of swizz cheesy beats, haha, pile of crap, all of his beats are so crap, he needs lobotomising.
dis post, dis post right here.. oh man haha
Adds so much character and vibrancy to what are, on paper, not the most poetic lyrics, to make a bit of an understatement.
that really knows how to flip up his cadence and rhyme schemes. There are plenty of other MC's that might could rap circles around him, but there are few that keep it as interesting, mainstream or underground alike. see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zL8mSmkvnbQ
Also: he is one of the very few hip hop artists that gets considerably better from album to album. Listen to his first couple and you will see dude was a hot mess, a bundled up package of energy with a fiery grimy voice. But he has practiced and practiced and honed is his flow and rhyme patterns.
and trust me, Wayne is brilliant.
any suggestions where to start?
