only just got round to listening to this. Very very very good.
When I first listened to it I enjoyed it a lot but over time it's only become better. Burial's supposedly been working on some other collaborations, it would be great to hear any of the stuff he's done with dBridge as well (and a whole album of material with Four Tet would be lovely).
I dunno if many will ever come out though but he has apparently been working with. Flying Lotus, dBridge, Goldie, Loefah on a Kryptic Minds remix (this is most likly to surface I think), there are rummours of more Four Tet too. I think you can hear some of the dBridge collab on a Rinse podcast of a dBridge FWD>> set here http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=85680 people have said its in there anyway I've not placed it yet on the few times I've listened.
Some sort of remix coming out on Metalheadz? Or is that bull?
'It's just a Burial thing'- seems to be the answer to most of the questions
I think its on youtube somewhere as it was played on radio. It might be one of those that never surfaces though, Loefah who is working with him said that Burial wont release alot of the collabs. Its in here... http://blackdownsoundboy.blogspot.com/2009/05/kryptic-minds-and-loefah.html
for now anyway, who knows it might pop up on digital sometime.
Its a really nice 12" I thought it was a bit slick and not Burialy enough at first but its grown on me the more I've heard it. They're both mesmerising tracks. I'm just glad that there is tons of quality bass music around at the moment so I dont have to wait for Burial to do more.
My record player doesn't play at quite the right speeds and doesn't seem to fit anywhere in new flat. Might have to see where else it could squeeze in.
